SMS banking is a technology-enabled service offering from Global Bank to its customers, permitting them to operate selected banking services over their mobile phones using SMS messaging. As a personalized end-user communication instrument, today mobile phones are perhaps the easiest channel on which customers can be reached on the spot, as they carry the mobile phone all the time no matter where they are. Urgent warning messages, such as SMS alerts, are received by the customer instantaneously; unlike other channels such as the post, email, Internet, telephone banking, etc. on which a bank's notifications to the customer involves the risk of delayed delivery and response.

In additional to Bank's deposit account holders, Global SMS Banking is also available for the Bank's credit card holders who hold deposit accounts at Global Bank.

• Total Outstanding Amount Inquiry
• Minimum Due Amount Inquiry
• Total Due as Per Last Statement Inquiry
• Due Date Inquiry
• Last Payment Received Details
• Interest Charged in Last Billing Inquiry

Procedure to Register to Global SMS Banking

• Fill up the application for Global SMS Banking.
• Submit it to the respective branch.
• Receive your confirmations SMS and PIN code in your NTC mobile.
• Begin using SMS Banking.

Eligibility:

• You must have Global Bank account in order to apply for SMS banking. No other documentations are required and SMS banking is offered to the customers without charging any fees or commissions. Your network operator may charge you relevant fees for sending and receiving SMS messages.
• All of the Bank's credit card holders are automatically signed up for auto SMS alerts for transactions processed through credit cards. However, to avail the additional facilities customers must open a deposit account and register for Global SMS Banking as described above.
